This is an updated version of the RCAP code. A bootloader has been programmed into the firmware that allows the RCAP2 to be programmed directly through the serial port, without a special programmer. All that is required is a PC with a serial port, and a null modem adapter, or do it yourself connector. All other updates can be performed via the serial port with this chip.
